Breath and Pressure Flow Map

This project shows how stress can be reduced through mindful breathing using an interactive map of my daily route.

Interactive Pressure Flow Map

Explore the interactive Breath and Pressure Map above. Click on a location spot to generate a new circle representing "pressure." As you blow on it, the circle moves to another location, shrinking in size to symbolize stress release through mindful breathing.

Project Overview

The Breath and Pressure Flow Map is a visualization designed to explore the pressures of modern life through the lens of mindfulness. Inspired by meditation, the project illustrates how conscious breathing can help alleviate stress.

The map reflects my daily routine between 370 Jay St and 196 Willoughby St. Clicking on these locations generates a pressure circle, symbolizing stress. Users can interact with the circles by blowing from one location to another. As the circle moves, its size decreases, representing the gradual release of stress through mindful exhalation. This project highlights how stress can accompany us through various parts of our day but can be reduced with deliberate actions until it fades away.
